Three British International Schools in Southern Europe join Globeducate

Globeducate has announced three European international school acquisitions in France, Spain and Portugal – all prestigious international schools, bringing its total number of Europe-based schools up to 33.
The three schools are Granada College, Spain; Mougins School in France; and International Preparatory School in Portugal. All three schools are a popular choice for parents looking for premium international education in their region, and the expansion strengthens Globeducate´s reputation as one of the leading international school groups in Europe.

Granada College, a prestigious bilingual international school in the south of Spain, is the latest addition to Globeducate in February and signifies the group's expanding presence in Southern Europe. The school, with 1,000 students, ranks in the top three schools in the region, and its academic reputation and dynamic sports programme and facilities bring prestige and recognition in the community of Granada.

Mougins School in France is situated in Silicon Valley, Sophia Antipolis, and is Globeducate´s third international school in the Côte d´Azur, and IPS in Lisbon is the third British international school in Portugal to join the group.

Granada College, Spain
Granada College, founded in 1993, is a prestigious international day school for students aged 6 months to 18 and its academic reputation for multi-lingualism is unrivalled in the region. The school, with more than 1,000 students from a diverse mix of nationalities, joined Globeducate in 2021 and ranks consistently among the top three schools in Granada for its performance in the university entrance tests programme. Mougins School, France
Mougins School is a highly regarded British international day school, a member of COBIS, for students aged three to 18, located in the Silicon Valley of France, Sophia Antipolis, Côte d´Azur. The school has 500 students from more than 40 nationalities and has been on its present campus since 1987. Recognised for its excellence by ISC and Cambridge Assessment International Education, students take IGCSEs, AS and A Levels. The school joined Globeducate in 2021 and has specialist Performing Arts and Sports facilities.
International Preparatory School, Portugal
IPS is a British curriculum primary school near Lisbon, for children aged 3 to 11, and currently hosts 300 children from around 40 different nationalities. The school, founded nearly 40 years ago, has established itself as a leading primary school in the area and moved into purpose-built facilities in 2010. The multi-national community represented at IPS by pupils and their families as well as staff, helps to create a learning environment which fosters a global understanding and appreciation of the variety of cultures and of each other. IPS was the first school on the Iberian peninsula to be awarded the full COBIS Patron’s Accreditation and proudly joined Globeducate in October 2020.
