The International School of Nice receives Athlete Friendly Education Centre Accreditation​

The International School of Nice (ISN), a proud member of Globeducate, is proud to announce its official accreditation as an Athlete Friendly Education Centre (AFEC), following a thorough review by the AFEC accreditation team. This prestigious recognition underscores ISN’s commitment to providing a supportive and flexible environment, enabling student-athletes to thrive both academically and in their sporting endeavours. 

The AFEC accreditation team commended ISN for its ability to cater to the unique needs of student-athletes, ensuring they can pursue their sporting aspirations without compromising their education. 

In their report, the AFEC accreditation team highlighted ISN’s adaptability and inclusive nature. “The school is very inclusive, flexible, supportive, and open,” they stated. “The sports background of various staff members helps to facilitate student-athletes' academic and sports projects.” 

ISN offers customised timetables and a flexible learning structure, allowing student-athletes to balance their academic responsibilities with their sporting commitments. The school’s supportive environment ensures that students can maintain both their academic performance and their athletic development.

The AFEC accreditation team also praised ISN’s academic offerings, noting that the school benefits from its high-quality academic offers and staff. By combining academic rigour with a flexible approach, ISN ensures student-athletes have the tools and support they need to excel in both areas. Although ISN is an IB School, students have three graduation routes. A student who is not a candidate for the full IB Diploma, maybe due to sporting commitments, can pursue the IB Certificate track or select to do the ISN High School Diploma. All three routes allow ISN students access to universities around the world. The synergy between academic and athletic support creates a well-rounded educational experience for student-athletes at ISN.
