Excellent IBDP results for Southbank International School’s class of 2024!

Southbank are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of their students on their International Baccalaureate (IB) results. Their success marks not just the culmination of hard work and dedication but also the beginning of exciting new journeys.

Fabienne Fontaine, IB Diploma Programme Coordinator at Southbank, said: “Our students have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their studies, embodying the spirit of inquiry and the pursuit of excellence that Southbank International School stands for. Their results reflect not only their academic rigour but also their personal development into well-rounded, globally-minded individuals.”

All 86 students who were entered to take the full DP passed, giving Southbank students a remarkable 100% pass rate, something they are extremely proud of. Here is a summary of the results:

  • 21 students obtained the bilingual Diploma, which represents 24.41% of the cohort
  • 18 students obtained 40+, which represents 20.9% of the cohort
  • 69.8% of the cohort achieved 35+
  • 86% achieved above the world average (30.32)
  • Southbank average is 36.0

Furthermore, a fantastic 71.4% of students achieved their firm offers and 16.1% their insurance choices for their university/college (subject to change).
