College Board’s Summer Institute for International Counsellors to be held in New York

For more than 40 years, the College Board’s Summer Institute for International Counselors has trained college guidance professionals advising international students on U.S. higher education. This year’s program will take place June 18-23, 2018 on the campus of New York University, in New York City.

For the first time, College Board will also be offering both a beginner and experienced strand. Our faculty includes distinguished admissions leaders from a variety of US universities and veteran experts in the field of college counseling. Here are a few highlights:

• Program options and sessions to serve the needs of new and experienced counselors;
• Expanded interaction with admissions officers from a wide variety of institutions in sessions, a college fair, and networking events; and
• Post-Institute offerings to learn about non-U.S. admissions and optional visits to area universities.
