Class of 2018 at KIS International School welcomed by top universities

KIS International School in Thailand report on a graduation ceremony that promises great prospects for the future....

During the recent graduation ceremony of KIS International School’s class of 2018, it became apparent that this year, as every year, our students have grown into caring, well-rounded young adults with excellent attitudes, impressive knowledge and outstanding thinking skills. We are very honoured that KIS has played a big part in the journey of these students, and we share their pride in their achievements.

Our class of 2018, a close-knit group of 34 students from 13 countries, have been offered 112 places by 79 universities in 10 countries. Almost all of these universities are top-ranked in their country and in the world. This year’s graduating class also received university scholarships worth more than an astounding 2,000,000 US Dollars.

Our students will be taking majors in many different areas. They will study Aviation, Psychology, Environmental Science, Marketing, Medicine, Media & Reporting, Marine Biology, Engineering, Film, Screenwriting, Fashion, Maths, Business, Finance, Design, Architecture, Computer Science, Music Production, Science, Design, Communication and International Justice & Human Rights.

Some of the universities they have been accepted at include:

University of Toronto (Canada); University of California – Berkeley, UCLA, University of Southern California, Amherst College, Colby College, Wesleyan University (United States); Durham University, University of Warwick, University of Exeter, University of Leeds, University of Bristol, King's College London (United Kingdom); Monash University and University of Melbourne (Australia); University of Amsterdam, University of Leiden (Netherlands); University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong), and many more.
