Our much-loved school for 3-16 year-olds, is now in its fourteenth year! The Olive Tree School began life in 2010 in Sitges, with the aim of providing a warm environment where children find learning just incredibly exciting.

Now, fourteen years later, we have spacious premises with beautiful grassy gardens, a science lab, two ICT rooms, a busy art studio, two peaceful, plant-filled libraries, several outdoor classrooms, two thriving vegetable plots and an indoor and outdoor theatre. There are also two ancient olive trees to read under or climb! We will be opening a new covered exterior sports facility of around 1000m2 for school year 2024-25 to provide extra space for our growing number of pupils to exercise.

We may have grown but our aims remain the same: excitement for the world of ideas and learning is our priority for all ages.

Additionally, we have relatively small classes (a maximum of 20 per class) to ensure your child's learning is personalised, and to provide the best emotional support as your child grows. In the local community, we are known for our creative approach: our gallery of artwork, our theatre productions, our concerts and our engineering projects where maths comes to life. We are committed to regular Forest School in the woods adjacent to the school, fieldwork and other outdoor learning. 26 different nationalities are represented at our school. And, when young adults complete their time with us at 16, our exam results are well above the UK average... the result of an environment where learning is everyone's passion.

The school follows the British curriculum with pupils sitting the iGCSE exams. We are located in Sant Pere de Ribes, just a few kilometres from Sitges and 40 km south of Barcelona. Sitges and the surrounding area (known as The Garraf) is a popular residential area for the international community given easy access to Barcelona and its airport.

We invite prospective pupils to come and spend a couple of days with us so they can experience for themselves the warmth and friendliness our school offers.
