St George's is Rome's original British international school, providing a world-class education to expatriate and internationally-minded families within the city since 1958. An independent, not-for-profit school, St George's is the only school in southern Europe with 100+ nationalities represented amongst its student body, and has been consistently recognised as one of the top schools in Europe (Spears Index, Schools Index by Carfax). The school's mission is to ensure that all learners become the best version of themselves, in an environment of collaboration, respect and kindness.

Offering an enhanced version of the UK National Curriculum through to Key Stage 4 (IGCSE), in the Sixth Form pupils follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), with over 30 separate courses available. In addition, graduating pupils are eligible to obtain a High School Diploma accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Teachers are principally UK-trained and mother-tongue English speakers.

The La Storta campus, ages 3 to 18, has specialist science, music, drama, art and design facilities, and an unparalleled sporting infrastructure in Rome that includes two multi-purpose Astro-turf pitches for football, rugby and hockey, an Olympic-size running track, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. From 2025, the addition of newly acquired surrounding land will provide a new base for the Junior School and increase the campus size to 23 acres. The City Centre campus, in close proximity to the Vatican, is a modern, purpose-built site with extensive resources including a 200 seat auditorium, 25m swimming pool and gymnasium.

Recent graduates have gone on to study at many of the world's leading universities. Members of the Class of 2024 were admitted to the University of Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, King's College London, Caltech, Chicago, and NYU. As well as a reputation for academic excellence, St George's is a proudly inclusive school and provides extensive specialist support for pupils with additional educational needs. The core curriculum is supplemented by a wide range of trips organised both in Italy and beyond. New pupils can enrol year-round, subject to availability, and early application is recommended.
