Founded in 1919, the Lycée Français de Varsovie (French School in Warsaw - LFV) is an international school proposing the French national curriculum from Preschool to High School for children ages 2 to 18.
The school enrolls over 700 students from 45 nationalities in a true multicultural and multilingual environment. It is the only school in Poland accredited by the French Ministry of Education. The Lycée Français de Varsovie implements the same curricula as French public schools and prepares students for the same exams and diplomas. The accreditation ensures both compliance with the French model of education and high-quality teaching.
The teaching staff is composed of highly qualified, supportive and passionate teachers: all are certified by the Ministry of Education and 70% of them are native speakers.
The school is very well implemented in Warsaw (100 years of tradition and excellence) and the curricula are enhanced with Polish language classes and cultural projects. Also, the Lycée Français de Varsovie offers a large choice of over 40 extra-curricular activities for children of all ages.
Every year, the Lycée Français de Varsovie sends students to top American, British, Polish and French universities with a 100% success rate at the exam of Baccalauréat.
The school is located over two sites: Preschool and Primary school are in Sadyba/Mokotów and the Secondary and High Schools are in Saska Kepa.
The Lycée Français de Varsovie is also part of the AEFE Network (Agency For French Teaching Abroad), a global academic network which gathers more than 540 French schools around the world.
