International School Leiden is the first to offer international primary education within Leiden, ages 4-11. Our campus is situated a stones throw from the heart of Leiden, providing a warm and welcoming community feeling.
At ISL it is our mission to provide a safe learning environment for every student to become self-aware and develop a sense of responsibility towards themselves, respect for each other and their environment in order to become active global citizens. By embracing the International Primary Curriculum, the personal learning goals are embedded into our daily learning: Adaptable, Collaborator, Ethical, Communicator, Thinker, Resilient, Respectful and Empathetic.
We are very aware of the importance you place on your child's education. Your child, their learning, and their wellbeing is at the epicenter of all our decisions, planning, and practice.
We believe all children should receive an exemplary education in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Together we can help our children excel and grow individually.
ISL has a newly renovated and spacious campus which includes facilities such as:
We are a member of The Dutch International Primary Schools (DIPS) partially funded by the Dutch government means we are able to offer international education at an affordable fee and fall in line with the framework of the Dutch educational system.
Beyond our academics, ISL offers a wide range of after school activities, available to all of our families. As well as providing an on site after school care facility. Offering our families options beyond the school day as well as piece of mind their children are safe.
The families within our school community play a crucial role in shaping the identity of our institution, contributing only positive aspects to its overall environment. ISL appreciates the participation of our students' parents and guardians
