Colégio Internacional de Vilamoura (CIV) is an International School with 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality education to the Algarve community.
The CIV educational model focuses on the early learning of foreign languages, research and mathematical thinking, with a further emphasis on the arts and sports. All of this is underpinned by our founding values of Peace, Democracy and Humanism. Our diverse community, with over 40 nationalities, enhances our international, multilingual and multicultural environment. Our motto "Educational excellence for life" reflects our desire to guide students as they grow to their full potential, and equip them with tools and the mindset to change the world around them.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff provides a K-12 education in two streams. In the Portuguese Curriculum, students follow the prescribed Portuguese National Curriculum, enhanced by the CIV values and focus on a whole-child education. The English Curriculum follows the Cambridge International standard up to IGCSE, and then offers the IB Diploma Programme. Both streams develop activities together to promote the school values, and the sharing of experiences and ideas.

CIV is located on a green sprawling campus in the calm outskirts of Vilamoura, set against a backdrop of natural beauty and beautiful weather year-round.
